Cybersafety
At Wonga Park Primary School we are currently working on our eSmart accreditation with the Alannah and Madeline Foundation.
Being eSmart means our school is smart, safe and responsible with the use of information and communications technology. Students, teachers and the wider school community are engaged and encouraged to embrace the benefits of technology, while being aware and savvy of the risks involved.
Students participate regularly in discussions, seminars and activities around cyber safety. They are also involved in developing and delivering information on the smart, safe and responsible use of technologies to a variety of audiences. As such a strong school with technology, we believe that cybersafety is an essential component to our success.
Our aim through becoming an eSmart school is to build strong and supportive relationships where learning outcomes are enhanced. Bullying and cyberbullying are therefore less likely to thrive.
Check back here regularly to see how we are being eSmart in our school community.
